Playing Blood Bowl Online
Blood Bowl has been a beloved tabletop game for over twenty years, but in recent years, it has embraced the digital age with various online adaptations.

Cyanide Studios holds the official license and has developed multiple editions for PC and consoles. These versions allow players to compete against AI opponents or other humans over the internet, featuring a 3D perspective and animated in-game sequences. The latest edition, Blood Bowl 3, which supports the current BB2020 ruleset, was released in 2023.

Meanwhile, FUMBBL has provided an online platform for Blood Bowl since 2002. This 2D, top-down client offers a classic representation of the game, complete with detailed team icons and the ability to play variant teams in its stunty division. FUMBBL fully supports BB2020 and receives regular updates to reflect new rosters, Star Players, and rule clarifications from Games Workshop. It is free to play and accessible on any device that supports Java.
Recent times hasted the need for the NAF to allow NAF-approved tournaments on these two main online Blood Bowl platforms. Results of these tournaments are recorded in the NAF database as online tournaments.

NAF Online Tournaments
To accommodate the growing online community, the NAF recognizes and ranks online tournaments hosted on FUMBBL and Cyanide’s Blood Bowl titles. The results of these tournaments are recorded in the NAF database, just like tabletop events.
Online tournaments follow the same general NAF regulations as tabletop tournaments, ensuring a consistent and competitive experience for all participants.
NAF-sanctioned online tournaments are regularly hosted, but any NAF member can submit an online tournament for approval, just as with traditional events.
