The North America Team Championships

From May 10th-12th 50 coaches from North America and beyond convened in Vegas to contest the North America Team Championships. With 4 coaches per team contesting 9 games each, the tournament was a test of stamina and skill similar to the NAF World Cup and the Eurobowl. Teams were 1100k with 7 skills (4 normal and 3 double) allocated over the course of the 3 days.

"As I expected, the Europeans came in and kicked our asses, with the Teutonic Terrors taking the champion plaques. The Thunderballers Team from Vancouver took Most Prolific (TD), and DrunkAssGamers from the East Coast took Most Devastating (CAS). Iron Mike's Team Shh, We Have a Hangover got the Wooden Spoon.
Mad Dawgs from the Midwest placed 2nd overall, Blame Canada was third.

Although there were no prizes for individuals, Marc Hohmann from Teutonic Terrors was best scoring individual, Cole Filipek from Orkland Dudes had the most touchdowns, and Brian Tew from Rocky Mountain Rampagers took most casualties.

Finally, the Canadians took the big cup with a final score of Canada 133, USA 124. I will finish getting the cup engraved and bring it to Spike! to hold until the next NATC. "
