NAF Official Ladder Rules – Season 1
Basic Information
These are the rules for the Official NAF Ladder on Cyanide’s Blood Bowl 2. If reading is not your thing. check out the YouTube introduction!
Please note that you will the “Official Expansion” to take part. So what you will need depends on what you already have:
- If you have BB2 already, you will need Official Expansion.
- If you want to use all the teams, you will need the Additional Races pack.
- If you are starting from scratch, you should get Legendary Edition, which includes all the above.
You can talk to the league admins, arrange matches, and talk with other coaches in the official NAF Discord.
We will use custom teams and resurrection to simulate NAF tabletop format.
Rosters are purchased with a treasury of 1,100,000 gold crowns.
Inducements are banned so spend all your treasury! We do realise this makes gobbos and halflings tricky, so sorry about that.
You may have as many teams as you want in the ladder.
In addition to your standard starting skills, you are required to purchase additional skills based on the chart below, you do not get to spend the additional TV on new players/rerolls etc.
You may only add one additional skill per player.
There are no restrictions on skill duplication i.e. you may give several different players the same skill if you wish.
The league is open with validation to ensure teams meet the competition’s rules, to be validated you must write “I have read the rules” in your team motto.
Schedule
The competition will run roughly in parallel with the Cyanide official Championship Ladder.
The Rules
The ladder will use the ‘Cyanide’ Blood Bowl rules. 24 teams are available, including Bretonnians, Kislev Circus (Slann) and Underworld however Chaos Pact are unavailable.
Rosters are purchased with a treasury of 1,100,000 gold crowns. No inducements or Stadium Enhancement are permitted.
Note, during the pre-match sequence extra gold crowns for inducements should not be awarded to teams that have a lower team value (such as they are in league play) however the game client will give you this petty cash. No spending of petty/cash is permitted during the pre-match sequence. Abuse of spending during the pre-match sequence should be reported to the League Commissioners.
Besides the starting skills on your roster, you are also permitted to add additional skills to your players. You may only add one additional skill per player.
The 23 available choices are divided into three tiers:
