Dear Members,
Since the World Cup in Lucca, the NAF has been running a program where coaches that have played the mandatory 23 team races plus Slann are eligible for a free, commemorative ’24’ patch. Those that have also played Daemons of Khorne and Bretonnians are eligible for extra patches to commemorate ‘doing the 26’.
The NAF stock of these patches has been exhausted. Also, Games Workshop have announced that there will be at least one new race released as part of the ongoing BB2016 edition. This makes it impossible for the NAF to know what any new patches ordered should be, and to keep up with a changing game, ongoing orders would have to be small and expensive.
For these reasons, we have decided to discontinue the patch program. However, we recognise that a number of members are part-way through a quest to complete the 24/26 for a patch, and we want to give you fair warning so that you can reach your goal. With this in mind, we are setting a deadline of 31 Dec. 2021. Any member who completes the 24/26 between this post and that date should let us know via the thread on the NAF forum (Link), and then we will make one final order to provide patches for those members. We will then make public the details of the patch supplier, so that any members that complete the 24/26 subsequently can make personal orders, should they choose to do so. Snotlings and / or any subsequent race released by GW will not count towards earning any patch.
