The process for choosing a host for WC4 has begun, with consideration of the process last time. Names will be kept confidential as to who is on the voting panel. There will be discussion amongst the voting panel before a vote, which will be based on subjective criteria. These will be published in the bid document so that the bidders know how they are being judged. The timescale will be put together in the next couple of weeks.
Gifts
We are aware that there are significant problems with distribution of the NAF premium/gift, and are looking for solutions. In future there will be a more formal network of individuals to cover geographical areas, and Lordillo will be putting this together.
Lordillo will also take the lead on organising the gift for 2017.
GW
We have previously published guidance for those organised tournaments in 2017. NTOs will be advised that we will be seek their opinions shortly after the launch of each particular set of published rules, and then take that into account when advising tournaments about rulesets.
Website
The membership and rankings database remains at the top of the priority list, as some memberships are not activating correctly and the full recalculation sometimes hangs.
