Looks a bit nicer in the inboxes, but the content’s the same!

The Road to the NAF Championships (RTTNAFC) tournament on Fumbbl is now past the half way stage – there a fair few coaches still with 100% records, so all of them will be looking for big wins in order to make it to the final. You can get all the news on the NAF site using the RTTNAFC tag. One of the great things about online tournament is being able to spectate matches, chat with other spectators and influence sound effects – there are regularly 20+ people watching games, and in Round 5 there are bound to be some bigger numbers at the top tables – see you there!

The NAF recently released all the data for the games played in 2013-14, which is 33,000 games of Blood Bowl! Various people have been number crunching the data, throwing up some interesting geographical and racial stats along the way. Check out TFF and the NAF website for a whole load of numbers!

The Blood Bowl podcast stable continues to enlarge as Double Skulls joins the fray – these British guys have recently started playing the mighty game, and talk honestly (and fairly explicitly!) about their experience of joining the tournament scene and starting their own league. Definitely worth a listen, especially if you are thinking of starting heading to tournaments or starting up your own league!

And finally, another good news story from the BB world – the 4 Diamonds Cup in Pennsylvania is an annual charity tournament that the NAF supports, raising money to combat childhood cancer. Now in their 8th year, they are expanding this year to include an X-wing tournament.
It seems some people play other games, who knew…
