This Winter an exciting new event is coming to the UK, The United Kingdom Team Challenge.
The four-player team tournament will take place in the run up to the NAF World Cup 2015 and we hope teams will see this as a try out for the big event in Italy next November. Just as importantly, UKTC will also see the crowning of the team champions of UK Blood Bowl.
As tournament organiser it’s certainly really pleasing to see lots of teams already signing up and momentum building. Several teams from England, Scotland and France are currently registered, and with any luck many more will join them.
UKTC will be held on January 10/11 2015 in York, UK. See the rules pack for full details.
Many of us here in the UK have often looked enviously at some of the huge team tourneys held in France, Italy and Spain. I hope we can come close to emulating events like Lutece Bowl, RugBowl, Tilean Team Cup and Dream Teams Cup – all of which regularly draw in 100 or more coaches.
Besides all of the above, I can also strongly recommend a visit to the city of York in its own right – its 365 pubs, historic city walls and magnificent minster.
And there’ll also be the Paint Lycos contest for anyone who has a Lycos flesh golem from NAFC this year!
Hope to see you next January. Any questions, please get in touch.
